What is Shatachandi Path?

“Shata” means – one hundred, and Shatachandi Path means the systematic recitation of the 13 chapters (700+ verses) of Durga Saptashati 100 times.

Through this divine ritual, the special grace of Mother Durga (Maa Chandi) is obtained, who is considered the protector of humanity and the primordial power of creation.

For a regular recitation – 21 Brahmins

For a complete recitation – 51 Brahmins

This ritual is performed according to the prescribed procedures over 1, 3, 5, or 7 days, depending on the availability of Brahmins and the level of the ceremony.
